Wood Balusters
Wood balusters are ubiquitous just about anywhere there are multi-level homes. It’s impossible to think of any community in the world who does not utilize the wood baluster in some way, shape, or form.
Our wood balusters come in two main categories: Primed White and Unfinished.
Primed White balusters are made of poplar and are primed with a white base. Although many of our customers don’t bother painting over the prime, they are made to be painted. These days, it is hard to distinguish between the primed white and a painted one due to a slight gloss over the prime.
Our unfinished balusters primarily come in Red Oak or Poplar. Other wood species may be available, but they are either not top sellers or are considered unique or niche. Plus the costs for the other species are pricier. But many discerning customers think it’s well worth it.
All of the balusters come in 36”, 39” and 42” lengths. 31” and 34” are available with some models. Inventory fluctuates wildly so be sure to inquire about the state of our stock. Be sure to pay close attention to block thickness!
